Shaq-to-Cleveland deal finished, Crawford gets sent to Hawks

Today the Shaq-to-Cavaliers deal was finally completed. The Phoenix Suns traded center Shaquille O'Neal to the Cleveland Cavaliers for forward Ben Wallace and guard Sasha Pavlovic, along with the 46th pick in the draft, and $500,000. Wallace said he was thinking about retirement and Pavlovic hasn't been the most effective player lately. The Suns could be rebuilding, but then again, they still have Amare Stoudemire, Jason Richardson, Leandro Barbosa, and Steve Nash. I think another trade for the Suns could happen tonight during the draft. They could deal their draft pick or send a! way one of their veterans. Stoudemire has been involved in trade talk, but I think the Suns should hold on to him, and if they are rebuilding, do it around him. Though there have been rumors that Stoudemire could be going to Golden State for Andris Biedrins and the Warriors' 7th pick in the draft.

And, the Lakers sold their 29th pick in the draft to help sign key forwards Lamar Odom and Trevor Ariza. Then the Blazers handed Dallas their 24th and 56th picks to take the 22nd, and Dallas also gets another second round pick in 2010 from Portland.

And lastly, Jamal Crawford is going to Atlanta. They are still finalizing the deal, but next season Crawford is most likely going to be in a Hawks uniform unless they trade him again. He was traded from Golden State to Atlanta for guards Speedy Claxton and Acie Law.
