MISSISSAUGA, ON - GoLo Racing and Hot Lap Events are thrilled to present the Rent-A-Racer or “RAR” program for 2009. Riders at all Hot Lap Events Track Days will be able to get one-on-one instruction from GoLo Racing racers for the entire day from the first session in the paddock until the last lap on the day.
GoLo Racing has always provided free coaching at all Hot Lap Events to all levels of riders as a standard feature, but now participants can have a “date” with a racer on the race track and in the paddock.
Riders will be able to pre-register for RAR when they register for their Track Day Event online and select RAR from a list of services available at the track. The selected RAR racer will spend the entire day with the rider and work on anything they’ve always wanted to focus on and get expert ! feedback, mentorship, advice and coaching to truly “bring out the best” in their track riding experience.
“The idea came to me when I was driving back from a Hot Lap Events track day and thinking what can I do to help the our track day riders and our GoLo Racing racers? The bells went off in my head and instantly it clicked: RAR,” says owner and managing director Rahul Dua. “Getting one-on-one instruction anywhere is very hard to find without a huge price tag. What if riders could rent one of our racers who are track marshals, for a small cost of $199.99 including taxes? The funds generated would in turn help the racers on the team generate funds to put towards their big race seasons budget.”
