Blatter visits Greenpoint Stadium

In 633 days the worlds biggest showcase will begin around South Africa. FIFA President Sepp Blatter is on nation wide tour of the Stadia for the 2010 Soccer World Cup.
Blatter visited Greepoint Stadium yesterday and according to Mayor Helen Zille, preparations are going well and proceedings are four days ahead of schedule.

Blatter however did make it clear that his visit is not to inspect what is being done but rather as a courtesy call.

His next stop is Ellis Park, he will also meet with Former President Nelson Mandela later today and will meet with the ANC's Jacob Zuma tomorrow.
