From the Baltimore Sun: Orioles pitcher Jeremy Guthrie has been selected for the final roster of Team USA for next month's World Baseball Classic.
Guthrie, who went 10-12 with a 3.63 ERA in 2008 and is the lone holdover from last year's Orioles' rotation, was informed of the decision late last week. He'll report to Clearwater, Fla., with the rest of the American team on March 1. They'll start a three-game exhibition schedule two days later before Team USA opens the tournament against Canada in Toronto! on March 7.
